Ah shit happens. Doesn't it?

Has anything crazy happened to YOU this last year? How is the economy treating you? There's a bloodbath going down on Sunset Blvd. Every other retail biz is vacant and I noticed at least one entire block seems to be dark. It's nothing like the flowery good times when I lived there in 2002 and 2003. I wrote a lot in my blog about hanging out in Hollywood back then. West Sunset strip was always packed. Miyagi's and Dublin's Irish Pub; across the street from each other on the most "happening" part of Sunset Strip, both are now closed.

Sex is still selling, but not like it used to. Just check out the financial news stories about it online. Sex isn't selling? Wow.

The Internet still holds it's promise though. It's continuing to change and metamorphize. Who knows what will be the next big thing? How long can these tube sites last? At what point does the uncensored proliferation of every kind of porn, perversion, violence, atrocity and other "shocking" free videos start to have an effect or backlash? When does it pull back? Who will pull it back? The demand? or the law? Interesting stuff to me.

For me the Glory Days of shooting naked girls, "Nude Modeling" and Online Porn are gone. I'm referring to the time starting back in 1997 when "Amateur" sites were in their infancy and there was so little competition. We didn't have the giant social networking sites (like Facebook with 350 million users) and you really had to dig to find new nude models. The models back then would dive in with little or no understanding about the Internet. Most figured their photos and videos would just disappear into some crevice in the web and since their parents didn't use the Internet - they wouldn't be found out. It was sneaky fun and we all had a great time shooting it. Now the parents are using the Internet.

There's no mystery any more. Everybody knows everything everybody else knows and where to find it and Corporations have taken over Porn.

I recently went back through my own blogs, behind the scenes and other MM shoots and was reminded how much fun most of it was (I emphasis MOST LOL). It's very cool to have a comprehensive record of it documented by words, photos and video. There's almost 1,000 girls on this site and each one of them has a story. We captured many of those stories on our "Audition Videos".

I'm proud of the fact that we stayed true to the idea behind the site: real girls with real stories. No made-up fantasies. We provided a 10 year Reality show online. Thats pretty impressive.

I've been writing a book about my last 15 years in the adult business and I will publish it online. A "Behind-the-scenes of the behind-the-scenes and not all of it pretty" . That will take some time but I believe I can get it done by next January.

With all that said, we just shot some new girls as you can see and we'll continue to do so.

I'm not sure exactly what the future holds in store for online porn. I'd love to know what visitors and members of this site think? Where do YOU think its going? What's erotic to you? Who's doing something new and different?
